What makes the NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer different than any other fire extinguisher I can buy?
Unlike any other fire fighting product sold today, the NitroStrike™ Fire Fighting Mini-Foamer is completely safe and green. It’s 100% biodegradable and can be breathed, touched or swallowed. This effective, nitrogen-filled fire fighting foam simultaneously attacks all sides of the fire tetrahedron – the oxygen, heat and fuel source, as well as the chain reaction that a fire needs to burn. The Fire Fighting FireFighting Mini-Foamer is the only product on the market that puts a fire out completely, permanently and cools all surfaces.

Will NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer meet compliance requirements where traditional dry chemical extinguishers are required?
The testing requirements for NitroStrike are different and more stringent than those for a traditional dry chemical extinguisher and the two methods of fighting fire are very different. The NitroStrike™ FireFighting FireFighting Mini-Foamer, though extremely effective in the extinguishing of small fires, is not “UL Rated” to meet the same requirements as a traditional dry chemical fire extinguisher. The contents are UL / ULC listed as a Wetting Agent and designed to be used on these same small fires without dispensing the powdery cloud of dangerous and difficult to clean chemicals. Unlike a dry chemical extinguisher, the FireFighting Mini-Foamer puts a fire out permanently and comes in a small and easy to use container that can be stored almost anywhere.

What are the requirements related to shipping the NitroStrike™ Fire Fighting Mini-Foamer?
The NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer is classified as an “ORM-D” product due to its pressurized container. It ships domestically via standard ground shipping under this classification with no additional fees, paperwork or restrictions other than the requirement that this marking must appear on the outside of the box.

Is the NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer reusable?
The NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer should not be kept for re-use once the safety tab has been removed. Because there is no gauge on the product, you cannot be certain how much is left in the container and you do not want to take the chance of running out of its safe, effective, nitrogen-filled fire fighting foam when you need it most. Replace as soon as possible with a fresh can and recycle the used can – all of its parts are 100% recyclable.

Will the NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer operate at any temperature?
The FireFighting Mini-Foamer can be safely stored at any temperature. However, its optimal operating temperature range is between 35ºF and 120ºF. If frozen, the contents will not be harmed and the unit will perform effectively after thawing.

You can use the FireFighting Mini-Foamer anywhere you may need to quickly extinguish a small fire. Keep one in your kitchen, bedroom, garage, workshop, BBQ grill/patio area, dorm room, hotel room, car, etc. The safe, effective nitrogen-filled fire fighting foam in the FireFighting Mini-Foamer leaves no powdery or oily mess to clean-up and contains no toxic chemicals like those found in other products.

What certifications does the NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer have?
The NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer contains nitrogen, water and a proprietary UL / ULC listed Foam Liquid Concentrate 14CY, tested and approved as a Wetting Agent in accordance with ANSI/NFPA 18 for physical properties and fire extinguishment 93VO, ULC listed Foam Liquid Concentrate. The proprietary Foam Liquid Concentrate, contained in the Fire Fighting Mini-Foamer has been tested and approved by many worldwide government environmental agencies.

What is the shelf life of the NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer?
While the contents of the NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer have no shelf life, the technology related to the seal on the cans does require that we place a limitation on the amount of time you can safely depend on the product to perform as designed. Therefore, the NitroStrike™ FireFighting Mini-Foamer is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects for a period of up to four years from the date of manufacture.
